I had been trying to write one post per day for the month of November. November is national blog posting month... Nablopomo for short--or something like that. I didn't sign up officially for the national event but I did take the challenge issued by my buddy Darin over at Interactive Sermon. Darin blogs like it's heroin. He blogs daily and believes everyone should blog. In fact I launched this blog when I found his. I had been thinking about it for some time and finding Darin's blog was the final nudge that I needed to get started.
So, since I did not sign up officially for NaBloPoMo I can get away with doing to posts today. That way I can still have 30 post for the month.
I told you all last Wednesday that Thanksgiving day was lasagne and Italian pot roast day and not turkey day. Well, today is turkey day. Today we are getting together with some of our extended family from So. Georgia and celebrating with a traditional thanksgiving meal. I'm going to have to leave early because I have to play at church this evening. Having said that I need to go do some rehearsal on the tunes. I'll post more later in the evening about the days events.
Later,
Mark.
